To Pentacor's clients, Talal Shahbander's name is synonymous with enthusiastic commitment to their interests. Talal is skilled at resolving complex design and construction issues, keeping projects on track and responding to changing schedules. 

As Pentacor's president, Talal remains actively involved in project work, seeing that project teams have what they need to meet clients' objectives.

He is a registered Professional Engineer with 18 years of public and private sector experience, encompassing master planned communities, large-scale commercial development, water distribution, sewage collection, wastewater treatment, hydrologic/hydraulic studies, water quality, and transportation.

He applies this expertise to individual projects while managing ongoing programs of multiple projects for commercial and public sector clients.

Joe Cross is a registered Civil Engineer and project manager with twelve years of experience in commercial, residential and public works engineering.

He has provided project engineering services to residential developers such as Del Webb and Centex Homes, with responsibility for production of site grading and public street and utility plans.

Joe also prepares fireflow reports, water and sewer capacity studies and drainage reports.

Over the past 21 years James has engineered and managed a wide range of projects in the civil engineering land development industry. Over his years of experience he has engineered and managed hundreds of thousands of acres of master planned communities, residential and commercial developments, across the western United States and Mexico.

Within that time he has worked with many top developers including Howard Hughes Corporation, Dell Webb, Lakes Las Vegas, Lewis Homes, Pardee Homes, Opus, Ryan Companies, Leucadia National, and many others.

His forsight in the development process and knowledge in the industry has saved clients both time and money while providing them with superior engineering services.

Scott Koehler’s passion for surveying – second only to his love for his family – is rooted in his lifelong interest in history and a love of the outdoors.

Of the many aspects of surveying in which Scott has professional experience, his forté is heavy construction and highway construction. He has worked on major mass transit projects, including Chicago’s elevated train system, and has served as project surveyor for dozens of bridges and interstate interchanges. He has also worked in the construction of major high-rise developments; as well as commercial and residential land development projects for both private, city and county organizations.

Scott holds professional survey licenses in Arizona, Wisconsin and Illinois. During the 27 years prior to relocating to Arizona, he established a prominent surveying practice in Chicago and became one of the most respected surveyors in that market for his knowledge and business integrity.

Scott oversees all of Pentacor’s ALTA, boundary and topographic surveys. He is eager to apply his many years of experience and his knack for innovation enhances Pentacor’s survey department and ensures solutions to our clients’ most complex surveying challenges.

Mr. Waring has been active in the surveying field for 30 years. He has been involved with a wide variety of projects in the Colorado Front Range, and also in Central and Southern California. He currently manages surveying operations in the Colorado office of Pentacor Engineering, and teaches part-time as surveying Instructor at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado.

Lisa Huntley is a business professional with over 12 years experience in the land development and civil engineering industry.

As Pentacor's business manager, Lisa provides expertise in financial management and human resources.
